Lisa and Miri become Rennies

Queen Elizabeth in the daily parade

Look what we found: 4 musketeers!

Here I am matching wits against Phillip of Spain. Two of his guards made bets in my favor, but I proved to be no match for the King.

Me and my drumstick

We found Shakespeare, perfecting a sonnet
from his perch on a small fountain

Lisa and a Scotsman

.
Lisa and more men. She gets around, huh?

This gal promotes an oil and scent shoppe across from the Pub

This one's for you, Ricky!

Ye Olde Medieval Chocolate Shoppe ... yum!

Between Lisa and I is King Phillip, and on Lisa's right is Sir Walter Raleigh. Can you say irony?

Lisa and I with Queen Elizabeth and some of her court.

Me with Queen Mary and Lord Darnley and some of the Scottish court

Dave with Olive and Daphne, from the Washer Wenches show. (No, those aren't horns, they're clothes pins.)

Dave with Queen Mary

"Sniff my chicken wing!" (Okay, so that makes no sense to most folks, but there's a funny story behind it. If you really wish to know, it's here.)

The knights ready themselves for the joust

Swordfighting on horseback -- it is so much cooler than my pictures give credit.

.
Hand to hand combat after the knights have been unhorsed. Oh, and when the proctor says hold, he means HOLD!

Lisa with the knights from the joust

Look! I stole Lisa's men!

Waiting for parade

The Guinness Pub, the favorite gathering place of cast and patrons alike at MI Ren, and location of the nightly Pub Sing

The New World Renaissance Band hosts the Pub Sing, introducing each of the guest minstrels and providing musical accompaniment.

Gibbon the Troubador is one of the Pub Sing's favorites
